RTO-I recovers Rs 11.2m from three companies

KARACHI: The Regional Tax Office-I (RTO-I) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected an amount of Rs 1.2 million from three companies.

Sources told Customs Today that the RTO-I issued show cause notices to two companies which are located in Thattha. These companies filed less income tax returns. Sources said that M/s Mukhtar Feed Company and M/s Muneer Feeders showed their less income. While as compared to their previous record both companies deposited Rs 6 million to Rs 8 million as income tax but now they showed less income.

Now RTO-I authorities issued final show cause notice to these companies asking them to explain their position till May 4.  It is necessary to mention here that M/s Al Hadeeda Garments and Export deposited Rs 4.5million as income tax after receiving final notice from RTO-I.
