LAHORE: The Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) collected Rs 7.82 billion during March of the current fiscal year 2015-16.
The RTOII collected Rs 4 billion in wake of income tax, Rs 3.2 billion under the head of sales tax and Rs 20 million as federal excise duty (FED).
On the directions of Chief Commissioner Khawaja Adnan Zaheer, the teams of RTO-II were performing their duties with full passion and collected almost Rs 1 billion more revenue as compare to last fiscal year 2014-15, officials said.
They added that chief commissioner has ordered to all commissioners to expedite the tax recovery from the taxpayers in order to meet the target of running fiscal year.
