KARACHI: The Regional Tax Office (RTO-II) collected Rs23,185 million in first 10 days of July.
Sources said that out of the said amount, the RTO-II collected Rs21264 million income tax in the corresponding month. The RTO-II collected Rs1599 million sales tax, Rs322 million federal excise duty.
The RTO-II collected Rs47,978 million as duty and taxes in June 2017. This is higher than the previous month of May. The tax office collected Rs44763 million under the head of income tax, Rs2665 million as sales tax and Rs550 million as federal excise duty (FED) during June 2017.
