RTO-II collects Rs 41,345m in first 20 days of May

KARACHI: The Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II) recovered Rs 41,345 million in the first 20 days of May. This amount is Rs 1,113 million extra than the amount collected during the first twenty days of April.

Sources informed Customs Today that RTO-II collected Rs 41,345 million in the first 20 days of May from which Rs 37,616 million were collected under the head of income tax, Rs3,645 million were recovered under the head of sales tax, while Rs 84 million were generated as federal excise duty (FED).

It is necessary to mention here that during previous month of April RTO-II collected Rs40232 million in first twenty days of April from which Rs38371 million were collected as income tax, Rs1820 million were collected as sales tax, while Rs41 million were recovered through federal excise duty (FED).
