LAHORE: The Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II) has sought evidence of agriculture tax submitted by taxpayers and issued notices to 2,500 filers in this regard.

Sources told Customs Today that around 2,500 taxpayers filed their tax statements in Regional Tax Office-II  (RTO-II) in which they mentioned that they paid agriculture tax through the Punjab Board of Revenue (BoR). Sources said that RTO-II is not satisfied with the figure and decided to issue them notices to produce evidence.
