RTO-II issues notices to excise official, inspectors in tax evasion

LAHORE: The Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued notices to Director of Excise and Taxation Imran Aslam and many inspectors  for not submitting their wealth statements and tax returns for the fiscal year 2013-14.

Sources informed Customs Today that Commissioner Inland Revenue (IR), Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II) Akber Mayo issued these notices to six excise and taxation officials and 50 inspectors who have still not submitted their wealth tax and income tax statements.
