RTO-II Lahore figures high in revenue collection

ISLAMABAD: The Regional Tax Office-II Lahore outperformed the Regional Tax Offices in achieving revenue collection target during the first half (July-December) of the current fiscal year.

As per details, the RTO-II Lahore made strenuous efforts, especially in the areas of withholding taxes, collection of taxes out of arrears and current demand, which made it the only Regional Tax Office that successful achieved its revenue targets during the corresponding period.

The RTO-II performance also made its management get the FBR chairman’s pat on the back. Tariq Bajwa during the Performance Review Meeting appreciated the efforts made in the areas of withholding taxes, collection of taxes out of arrears & current demand. The FBR chairman also lauded the collection of income tax out of arrear demand during the meeting.
