RTO-II sends income tax notices to 10 MPAs

LAHORE: The Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has sent Income Tax notices to 10 Members of the Provincial Assembly.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) sent notices to those Members of Punjab Assembly who did not submit their income tax returns for the year 2014, 2015 and 2016.

The MPAs issued notices include Anees Qurashi, Sardar Asif, Javaid Alla-ud-Deen, Muhammad Yaseen Ammar, Malik Ali Abbas Khokhar, Syed Sabtain Raza, Tahseen Fawad, Salma Shaheen Butt, Shahzadi Kabir and Tariq Masahee Gill.

It has been warned that if the Members of the Punjab Assembly do not file their tax returns then FBR will take action against them under the Law.
