RTO-II serves income tax notices on Nargis, Shahida Mini

LAHORE: The Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued notices to Actress Nargis and Singer Shahida Mini for tax evasion. Both showbiz personalities did not file the income tax returns for the year 2016.

According to the FBR source, stage actress Nargis did not file the income tax return and assets’ details to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for the year 2016 and singer Shahida Mini also did not file the tax return for the year 2014-15 and 16 and also did not deposit assets details.

The FBR issued deadline for fifteen days and seeks reply within 15 days of the issuance of the notice.

RTO Zonal officer issued tax notice under the Section 114 and 116 of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001 and seeks tax returns and assets’ details within 15 days. Source said if both showbiz personalities fail to file their tax returns then FBR will take notice under the law.
