FAISALABAD: The Regional Tax Office-III has collected Rs 70.98 million under the head of sales tax during first 15 days of March.
Commissioner RTO-III Aftab Alam Khan told Customs Today that the Unit-1 collected Rs 42.40 million while the Unit-2 collected Rs 24.19 million and Unit-3 recovered Rs 2.68 million during the first 15 days of March. He said that no amount was collected under the head of federal excise duty.
He said that the RTO teams are adopting different strategies to achieve the revenue target set for the fiscal year 2015-16.
