RTO-III collects Rs 88.54b in March

KARACHI: The Regional Tax Office-III (RTO-III) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) collected Rs 88.543 billion during March of the fiscal year 2015-16.

The RTO-III collected Rs 85.266 billion under the head of income tax, Rs 2.965 billion as sales tax and Rs 312 million in wake of federal excise duty (FED) during the said period.

It is important to mention here that it collected Rs 86.366 billion during February 2016. It had generated Rs 83.563 billion as income tax, Rs 2.533 billion in wake of sales tax and Rs 270 million as FED. It may also mention here that the RTO-III collected Rs 85.502 billion under the head of all taxes during January 2016.
