RTO-I&II employees fed up over unfair reward distribution

LAHORE: The employees of Federal Board of Revenue in Regional Tax Office I and II in Lahore are disappointed over unfair distribution of efficiency rewards.

Federal Board of Revenue distributes efficiency rewards among its employees who perform outstanding performance in tax collection and other official activities.

The employees in RTO-I and II are disappointed on the reward distribution and said that the efficiency reward to employees not given on merit basis and distributed on personal likes and dislikes.

The staff members said on the condition of anonymity that the efficiency reward given by FBR to employees on the basis of efficiency are not given on merits and given to those who are officers favorite.

They said the genuine names are withdrawn from the list in head office and names of favorite ones are included in the original list and list changed by some officials in the head office.

The employees of RTO I & II appealed to authorities concerned that the efficiency rewards must be distributed on merit not on personal likes and dislikes and given after thorough assessing of the performance of employee who fall in any categories.
