RTO-III issues notices to 12,000 tax defaulters

KARACHI: Additional Commissioner Regional Tax Office-III Safdar Malik said that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected reasonable revenue during the first three months of the current fiscal year.

He said that the RTO-III has issued 12,000 notices to tax defaulters, among which 2000 people have already submitted their tax returns while some are taking measures to deposit the due amount of taxes. He said that the RTO-III is going to take strict measures against persons who are avoiding to submit tax returns.
