KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue Regional Tax Office-III (RTO-III) Karachi has collected Rs 68.91 billion in the sum of direct and indirect taxes up to the month of April during current fiscal year 2014-15.
The FBR has assigned the target of Rs 71.273 billion to Regional Tax office Karachi for first 10 months of the current fiscal year. It is facing shortfall of almost Rs 2.36 billion.
The percentage of target achievement stands at 97 per cent. However, the RTO-III officials are hopeful to achieve the target by the end of the current fiscal year.
