RTO-III recovers Rs 10.3m from five companies

KARACHI: The Regional Tax Office-III (RTO-III) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) collected Rs 10.3 million in the wake of sales tax.

The RTO-III officials told Customs Today that the FBR recovered the said amount from four Karachi-base companies and one company located in Hyderabad. As per details, the department issued notices to 12 companies to deposit their tax liabilities within 14 days or strict action will be taken against them. In this regard, three companies in Karachi including, M/s Al Ferdos Hosiery deposit Rs 1.45 million, Aryan Textile and Export submitted Rs 2.7 million, M/s Moneeb Industry and Sons Rs 3.45 million while M/s Sarfraz Chemicals and Exports deposited Rs 2 million in the wake of sales tax.
