RTO impounds Sidra Steel Re-rolling Mill’s vehicle for tax evasion of Rs 0.69m

LAHORE: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) has impounded vehicle of Sidra Steel Re-rolling Mills for not paying sales tax of  more than 0.69 million.

The vehicle was impounded in the directives of Commissioner Tax Zone IV Asim Majeed and Deputy Commissioner Farhan Sattar here on Wednesday.

As per details Dupty Commissioner Farhan Khan, Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Rafique, Income Tax Inspertor Zafer Iqbal and some other subordinates took part in this assignment.

Sources told that RTO office impounds Corolla Model 2011 bearing registration number LEC 655 was impounded form the premises of Sidra Steel Re-rolling Mills for not paying sales tacx of Rs 0.69 million.

The Customs officials said that  department will continue operations against tax evader till no evader left out  .
