KARACHI: Regional Tax Office (RTO-I) Karachi has collected Rs. 11.623 billion during the month of May, 2015 while in the overall 11 months till May 30 the total revenue collection stood at Rs 12.8 billion in the sum of direct and indirect taxes.
According to the details, Rs 187 million were collected as sales tax, Rs 20 million as the federal excise duty and Rs 11.416 billion as income tax during the month of May. While in remaining 11 months till May 30, Rs 1.981 billion were collected as sales tax, Rs 511 million as the federal excise duty and Rs 12.591 billion as income tax.
