RTO Lahore discontinues officials’ salary not assuming charges

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue Regional Tax office Lahore has discontinued the salaries of the officials on not assuming the charges at RTO Lahore following the transfer/posting orders.

As per detail, department has transferred the officer included Meer Suleman, Shahid Naseem Joya, Abid Ismail, Abdul Rasheed Anjum, Mian Tariq, Tanvir Akbar and Raza Tufail to Inalnd Revenue’ s Sales Tax department at RTO Lahore from Model Customs Collectorate Lahore.

However, employees did not follow the instruction and continued their duties at MCC Lahore on which RTO Lahore taking action discontinued the salaries of the said employees.

On the other hand, Customs Employees Union President Ameer Haider said that union will chalk out a strategy to sort out the issue regarding the discontinuation of salaries of the employees.
