Addressing on the occasion, Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue Abid Raza Bodla said that the business and industrial community is trying to resolve the tax issues related to RTO on a more strategic basis. The doors of RTO office are open for all except open court.

Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue Multan Region Abid Raza Bodla listened the grievances of a member of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI). Former President MCCI asked the Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue that Jurisdiction of some tax payers has been transferred from RTO to LTO despite having a turnover of Rs.5 to Rs8 billion which has created a great deal of confusion and hardship. Difficulties in transfer of soft data/hard copies of tax records from one jurisdiction to other has created problem in processing of refunds and other issues. Transfer of Jurisdiction should be streamlined and made easier with prior intimation and valid reasoning.
