RTO  Zone-III collects Rs 45.95m in 20 days of April

FAISALABAD: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) Zone-III has collected Rs 45.95  million under the head of sales tax during first 20 days of April, 2016.

Talking to Customs Today, Commissioner Muhammad Akram said that his department has collected Rs 45.95 million under the head of sales taxes. He also informed that unit-I generated Rs 26.75 million, unit-II collected Rs 16.82 and the unit-III collected Rs 0.83 million and unit-iv collected Rs1.54 million.

He further said that his zone has collected Rs 4.97 million in the wake of arrears. The unit-I collected Rs 3.71 million, unit-II collected Rs 0.89, while unit-III collected Rs 0.03 millions and unit-iv collected Rs 0.34 millions during the said period.

Commissioner said that Faisalabad RTO is striving hard to recover taxes in order to meet the target, adding that he was optimistic to achieve revenue target.
