RTO-III generates Rs 41.743b in first 20 days of May

KARACHI: The Regional tax office-III (RTO-III) recovered Rs 41.743 billion during the first 20 days of May which is Rs 478 million extra from the first 20 days of April.

Sources told Customs Today that during the first 20 days of April the department collected Rs 41.4265 billion. As per details officials informed that the RTO-III collected Rs 39.780 billion as income tax, Rs 1.923 billion as sales tax while Rs 40 million were collected as federal excise duty.
