RTOs, LTUs start training of officials on ‘IRIS’

LAHORE: The Regional Tax Offic-I (RTO-I), Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II) and Large Taxpayer Unit (LTU) have started inter-departmental training of officers on Integrated Risk Information System ‘IRIS’.

The trainers of RTO-I and RTO- II, and LTU, who got training from Directorate of Training (DOT), are training all the officers, including commissioners, additional commissioner, deputy commissioners and assistant commissioners.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) had been asked to nominate one official each from all RTOs and LTUs for the training on ‘IRIS’.

Deputy Commissioner Manan Yousaf is providing training to all officers, including commissioners, additional commissioners, deputy commissioners and assistant commissioners on IRIS module. The same assignment has been implemented in all other RTOs and LTU.

The training of one hour per day arranged in the halls of RTOs and the training session will continue for the next three days.

After the completion of training, officers of the FBR will arrange training of inspectors and other subordinate staff regarding ‘IRIS’ module because the FBR wants the success of IRIS at any cost.
