RTOs making lists of tax defaulters to take action

LAHORE: Following the directions of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), the Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) are busy in making the list of non-tax return filers in order to take action against them.

Sources said that the RTOs prepared the list of around one thousand tax defaulters so far those are millionaires but not paying tax liabilities. The sources added that most of the tax defaulter traders were running business in different areas of Lahore, including Gulber, Mall Road, Ichra Market, Azam Market and other areas.
