LAHORE: “Direct the Lahore regional tax office (RTO) to accept refund applications from all the sectors covered under SRO 1125,” the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) urged the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

The LCCI president said, “The Lahore RTO has not been accepting refund applications from five sectors since Oct 4, 2013.” Ijaz A. Mumtaz added that all other RTOs in the country had been processing refund applications under Rule 33 of the Sales Tax Refund.
