ISLAMABAD: The rupee shed three paisas against the dollar on Friday. The demand and supply remained balanced. The rupee closed at Rs101.65/dollar in the interbank market against the last closing of Rs101.62/dollar and was trading at Rs101.80/dollar in the open market.

A dealer said there were inflows in terms of export receipts and remittances, which offset the demand, while there was no extraordinary transaction.
