Rupee depreciates by 45 paisas against dollar to reach 101 in open market

KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee Friday weakened against US dollar in open market, however it gained value in interbank.

As per local currency market, the US dollar gained 45 paisas in open market and reached 101. The greenback shed 10 paisas in interbank to close at 100.4 on the last trading day. On Thursday, the American currency got 10 paisas in interbank to reach 100.6 and shed 30 paisas to close at 100.65 in open market.
