KARACHI: Pakistani rupee Thursday lost value against US dollar in open market, however it remain firm in interbank.
As per the local currency market, the US dollar remained unchanged in interbank at 100.40 and shed 20 paisas in open market to close at 101.45. On Wednesday, bear dominated the currency market as the rupee depreciated against the dollar. The rupee in sympathy with the interbank trend shed 20-paisa versus the dollar in open market for buying and selling at Rs101.00 and Rs101.20 respectively.
