Rupee strengthens in open market

KARACHI: Pakistani rupee gained value against US dollar in open market, but remained unchanged against in interbank on Friday, the last day of trading week.

As per the local currency market, US dollar lost 15 paisas in open market to stand at 103.3 and remained steady at 103 in interbank. On Thursday, greenback witnessed no change in its value in interbank and open market at 103 and 103.45 respectively.
