LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Friday said that Khadim-e-Punjab Rural Roads Programme (KPRRP) has proved a game-changer for the rural economy.

He said that the programme had helped farmers take their agriculture produce to marketplaces easily and it had benefited the major portion of the rural population. He said that so far more than Rs 67 billion had been spent on the programme and around seven thousand kilometres long carpeted roads had been constructed in the province.
