LAHORE: A number of suspects have approached the Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling to get bail before Eidul Fitr.
As per details, a number of accused moved the Customs Court to get bail before Eid. As Monday was the last day of court hearing, there were more than five pre-arrest bail pleas which were moved in the court. A number of other bail applications were also scheduled for hearing on the day. The Customs Court approved many bail applications.
Now after Monday courts will start proceedings on cases from Saturday 9th of July. On Monday cases including tax evasion, narcotics and smuggling were scheduled for hearing. Cases of Gujranwala, Sialkot, Multan and Lahore were heard on Monday in the court.
