Russia-Iran Trade Up 13.3% Year-on-Year To $543Mln In January-March

MOSCOW : Trade between Russia and Iran amounted to about $542.9 million in the first three months of 2019, showing a 13.3-percent increase on a year-on-year basis, the Russian Federal Customs Service said Monday.
Russia’s exports to Iran rose by 32.2 percent to $393.7 million, while Russia’s imports from Iran dropped by 17.7 percent to $149.2 million.

Iran’s share in Russia’s foreign trade stayed at 0.

In turn, trade between Russia and Turkey decreased by 13.7 percent over the same period on a year-on-year basis, amounting to $6.1 billion, according to the Russian Customs Service.

Russian exports to Turkey diminished by 17 percent to $5.03 billion, while imports from Turkey grew by 6.2 percent to $1.06 billion.
