MOSCOW: Russia has resumed liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) exports to Ukraine after a pause of several days, Ukrainian news agency Uaprom said on Friday, citing Ukrainian and Russian industry sources.
Earlier this week, Russia suspended LPG exports to Ukraine over concerns the fuel could be used for military goals. LPG, or propane and butane, is typically cheaper than many other kinds of fuel, such as gasoline. It can be used in cars, household utilities or to produce electric power.
