SARGODHA: Russian trade representative Yuri Kozolo, while addressing the local business community at Sargodha Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Wednesday said that Russia will cooperate with Pakistan in energy and steel sector.
According to a handout, the trade representative of Russian Embassy said his government was ready to cooperate in energy and steel sectors. He added that Russian government also intended to invest in North-South Gas Pipeline project of Pakistan.
Yuri Kozolo said that there were tremendous opportunities for the exports of Pakistani products including Kinnow, furniture and handicrafts in Russia.
On the occasion, SCCI President Mukhtar Mirza said that despite the presence of opportunities the trade volume of Pakistan-Russia was much less than the expectations, adding, “Our Kinnow export was affected up to 70 % because Russia had banned food items by different countries”.
