SIALKOT: The ambassador of Russia to Pakistan Alexey Dedov showed keen interest in the Sialkot-made sports goods and surgical instruments during his visit to several leading industrial units on the final day of his two-day visit to the city.
Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) President Maj (r) Mansur Ahmed, SVP Muhammad Sarfraz Butt and Sialkot International Airport Limited Chairman Malik Muhammad Ashraf were also present on this occasion.
The Russian ambassador witnessed the production process of the sports goods and he highly hailed the international standards and craftsmanship of the Sialkot workers.
Alexey Dedov highly hailed the unique export culture and socio-economic and human development efforts in Sialkot.
On this occasion, the Russian ambassador said that the Russia is intending to boost the mutual trade ties with Pakistan besides making all out sincere efforts to remove hurdles from the way of smooth promotion and strengthening the mutual trade between Pakistan and Russia.
