MOSCOW: It seems that countries are not only in a competition to make robots, but to export them. A Russian company is about to send 100 robots to China by the end of 2017.
“Promobot” is a Russian company which has made inroads in the Chinese market. It has exported five robots to China in 2016, and it will deliver 100 more by the end of 1017.
The robot with a huge linguistic database, has been designed to communicate on any topic. And it has more than 100,000 units of speech. The Russian product can broadcast any material on its display and work as universal administrators and guides in busy public places such as museums, theaters, shopping malls, and business centers.
