MOSCOW : The export portfolio of Russian state arms exporter Rosoboronexport has reached $48 billion, head of Russia’s state technologies corporation Rostec Sergey Chemezov said.

According to the Rostec head, Rosoboronexport gets no more than 4 percent of the total transaction amount. Depending on how new the technology is, the percentage drops even lower, sometimes to just over 1 percent.

Not long ago, our export order portfolio was $45 billion, now it is already $48 billion,” Chemezov said in an interview with the Russian Kommersant newspaper.

Rosoboronexport is responsible for over 85 percent of Russian arms and military technology export.
