LAHORE: Federal Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, chairing a meeting at Railway Academy Walton, has directed the authorities concerned to upgrade the tracks of trains so that passengers can be provided better facilities.
The minister said upgradation of tracks will help increase the income of railways and restore people’s confidence in the department.
Later, addressing a function in Lahore, Saad Rafique said progress and development of the country cannot be halted through politics of protests and sit-ins.
On the occasion, he also asked PTI chairman Imran Khan to focus on the development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, instead of criticising the federal government. The minister said conspiracies and allegations could not affect the morale of the government for well-being of the people.
