SADIQABAD: The Intelligence and Investigation, Field Intelligence Unit (FIU) has detained a container loaded with different kind of machine,ry auto spare parts in an action.
According to the details, the Customs Intelligence staff intercepted a trailer bearing registration no: TLZ-544 near Sindh Punjab Check Post National Highway loaded with different machinery auto spare parts including power supply, rice cooker, audio speaker, battery charger, cutting of saw machine, pump with motor, exercise machine, diesel and petrol generator, battery operator, electric gear motor, pressure guage, axial fan, and mine drill.
The officials shifted the containers to the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Warehouse for examination whether the recovered items are smuggled one or not.
Sources told that, the officials have asked the importer Muhammad Naveed to submit original import documents for the verification of said goods. The importer has provided documents to the Customs Intelligence for verification, while the investigations are underway in this regard.
