LONDON: SAFESTYLE UK, the manufacturer and retailer of windows and doors, said revenues increased 9.5 per cent to £148.5m last year.
In a trading update for 2015, the Yorkshire business said pre-tax profits have shown good progress and are expected to be in line with consensus market expectations. Safestyle said the expected strong performance in the second half saw double digit growth in both sales and profit.
It said it increased share from 8.48 per cent to 9.46 per cent against an overall market contraction. Safestyle said it manufactured 279,453 frames last year, an increase of 4.4 per cent, while the number of installations increased by 4.3 per cent to 60,134.
The order book was up 1.2 per cent at the year end. Steve Birmingham, chief executive of Safestyle UK, said: “I am pleased to report that trading over the year has been robust. “We have continued to heavily outperform the market, thanks to the quality of our product range, the attractiveness of our finance offer and the effectiveness of our sales and marketing efforts.
