Saima Nazir assumes charge as DG operations

KARACHI:  Saima Nazir Khan, BPS-20 officer of Pakistan Customs Service, has assumed the charge of director general (OPS) at the Directorate General of Customs Valuation, Karachi.

Prior to taking over the charge, she was serving as the Lahore Collectorate of Customs (Adjudication) collector.

Meanwhile, Ali Zeb Khan, BPS-18 officer of the Pakistan Customs Service, serving as deputy director at the Directorate of Reforms and Automation, Karachi would be leaving for Australia next month.

The FBR has allowed him to pursue a master’s degree in international trade and development at the University of Adelaide, Australia under the AusAid Scholarship programme.

The one-year scholarship programme will commence from January 1, 2015. The one-year period would be treated as deputation.
