Sale of local cars increases by 4 percent

KARACHI: The sale of local cars has increased by 4 percent as 44,550 units have been sold in the first quarter of current fiscal year.
All Pakistan Motor Dealers Association Chairman HM Shehzad said that 42,796 cars were sold previous year from July to October. Facts and figures show that sale of cars was 12,651 units in 2014 while 9,955 units in 2013 which is 28 percent more than the previous year. The sale of cars in October 2014 was as follows: Pak Suzuki 6,441 units, Indus Motors 4,425 units, Honda 1,735 units and others 50 units. The sale of cars from July to October was: Pak Suzuki 23,472 units, Indus Motors 14,287 units and Honda 6,622 units.
