SYDNEY: Samsung has started the Android 5.0 Lollipop update roll-out for Galaxy Note Edge smartphone. It is currently available over-the-air (OTA) in Australia and is expected to reach other markets in the coming weeks.
The official change-log is not available, but users can expect to see upgraded TouchWiz UX, performance enhancements, ART as default runtime, enhanced notifications, and more.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is the first curved-screen smartphone from the company and was unveiled alongside Note 4 at IFA trade fair last year. It is currently on sale in select markets globally and will soon be joined by another curved-screen phone from Samsung, which is likely to be dubbed Galaxy S Edge or Galaxy S6 Edge.
