Samsung Galaxy Tab 4

This is a product from April last year and it is actually the latest tablet from Samsung. What made it more powerful and loveable is the fact that it comes with a SIM card slot, which is something users won’t get on the Nexus 7. Furthermore, they can use EDGE and GPRS services on this Samsung device.

The Galaxy Tab 4 comes with a display screen size of 7 inches and is supported by the IPS LCD technology, offering users with a pixel density of 219ppi. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 also features a quad-core processor that clocks a speed of 1.2GHz and is supported by a RAM of 1.5GB, which is quite weak, compared to many tablets out there.

The Galaxy Tab 4 comes with an internal storage of 8GB and 16GB but the only problem is that there is no Micro SD expansion slot. It runs on the Android Kit Kat and comes at a price of $237.99.

Asus Google Nexus 7

The Google Nexus 7 comes with a decent look and a decent screen size of 7 inches and support for IPS LCD technology that is also LED-backlit. This tablet comes with superior graphics than the Galaxy Tab 4 and it has a resolution of 1920 by 1200 pixels and a pixel density of 323ppi. This screen also comes with the latest multi-touch capabilities and it can recognize all 10 fingers simultaneously and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The Asus Google Nexus 7 comes with a Krait processor that clocks a speed of 1.5GHz and it includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset. Furthermore, users will find a RAM of 1.5 GB and it runs on the Android Jelly Bean, but it can be upgraded to the latest Kit Kat.

Unlike the Galaxy Tab 4, the Nexus 7 does not come with a SIM card slot and as such, it has no EDGE or GPRS services. The 16GB model of the Asus Google Nexus 7 has a price tag of $210.
