SEOUL: Samsung has started launching Lollipop updates for its mid-ranger tablet line up and the first one to get it is the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and it has already started getting the update in Spain.
The update will roll out through OTA and will weigh-in at around 900MB. The devices in India will also get the update soon. The update is applicable for both Wi-Fi as well as LTE capable devices. The Samsung Touch Wiz running on Android KitKat 4.4 will be upgraded to Android Lollipop 5.0.2. Google has released Lollipop 5.1 but the South Korean giant will push that update later. Most of the flagship tablets in Samsung’s Galaxy line-up have already been updated to Lollipop and now it’s the md ranger devices that will follow the suit. The Galaxy Tab 4 8 inch and 7 inch are next in line.
