SEOUL: SAMSUNG C&T CORP is still releasing devices on a regular basis despite the fall in Smartphone sales. Rumours have it that the company is aiming to launch a handset that goes by the name, Galaxy A7, and it could turn out to be the slimmest Samsung Smartphone yet.

According to a report from the Chinese regulatory approval, the Galaxy A7 may come with an ultrathin chassis that measures 6.3mm. This would make the A7 thinner than the Galaxy Alpha, Samsung’s thinnest Smartphone to-date.

The handset won’t be as powerful when compared to the Galaxy S5, but it comes very close. According to rumours, the device will come equipped with Android 4.4.4 Kit Kat and a beautiful 1080p display that measures 5.5-inches. On the back, the Galaxy A7 is expected to have a sharp 12-megapixel camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies.

The rumours claim the handset should launch with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 1.5GHz super-fast octa-core processor.
