SEOUL: The South Korean smartphone giant, Samsung is known for its Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Note series and it is said to be working on new tablets for its flagship Galaxy Tab series. Rumours revealed that it has an information about the specifications of the two upcoming Android tablets—Galaxy Tab A and Galaxy A Plus. Leaked Specifications are: Samsung Galaxy Tab A Galaxy Tab A will come in two sizes, 8 inch and 9.7 inch. The smaller model will be powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor and its screen will have display resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels with aspect ratio of 4:3. It will have 1.5 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory. Speaking about the cameras, Galaxy Tab A will have 5 MP primary camera and 2 MP secondary camera. It will run on 4,200 mAh battery. Unlike the smaller variant of Galaxy Tab A, the 9.7 inch version will run on 1.2 GHz Qualcomm APQ8016 processor and 6,000 mAh battery. Samsung Galaxy Tab A Plus The two models of Tab A Plus will also come in 8 inch and 9.7 inch sizes. These tablets will have same features and specifications like the two variants of Galaxy Tab A. However, A Plus tablets will sport 2 GB RAM. As mentioned earlier, Samsung will include S Pen stylus for the users of A Plus tablets. All these tablets are expected to be 7.4 mm in thickness and will come in both LTE and Wi-Fi variants. The information about the prices is not disclosed yet. However, they will likely fall into the category of mid-range tablets.
