Sara-e-Muhajir ASO impounds non-duty paid vehicle

FAISALABAD: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) Sara-e- Muhajir has impounded an applied for Hilux double cabin vehicle. The market value of the seized vehicle is Rs 2,298,728, involving customs duty and taxes to the tune of Rs 1,598,728.

Sources told Customs Today that Collector Dr Zulafqar Ali Chaudhary received information regarding non-duty paid vehicles which were plying on roads. He constituted a team comprising Chaudhary Muhammad Sardar (Superintendent), Azhar Hussain Jafri, Muhammad Umar Bhatti, (inspectors), Shamshir Hussain, (UDC), and Sher Ahmad, Said Rasool, Faiz Ahmad (sepoys ).
