Sarfraz Warriach presides over Pak-Afghan Transit Trade liaison committee meeting

PESHAWAR: Pakistan-Afghan transit trade Liaison Committee meeting held in the conference room of Customs House Peshawar. Director-General Transit Trade Karachi Sarfaraz Ahmad Waraich chaired the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Faiz Ali, Director Transit Trade Peshawar, Syed Faisal Bukhari, Jehan Bahadur, Muhammad Tayyab Additional Directors Transit Trade Peshawar, Inamullah Wazir Deputy Director Transit Trade Torkham. Safi Commercial Attache Afghan Consulate General Karachi and Reps of NLC, TDAP, SCCI and PAJCCI were also present in the meeting.

SCCI President Mohammed Fazi Muhammad Faizi informed the meeting about problems faced by importers based in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The valuation orders issued after budget were discussed. Faiz Mohammed further said that FBR entitled decrease in few commodities which were thoroughly discussed.

Ziaul Haq Sarhadi important member of Pak Afghan joint chamber of commerce was also present at the occasion. Sarfaraz Ahmad Warraich ensured the delegation that all problems faced by importers based in Peshawar will be resolved.
