Sargodha ASO confiscates smuggled LED digital, art silk cloth

FAISALABAD: The anti smuggling organization Sargodha has seized foreign origin LED digital color, TV Sony full HD (slim ) Bravia brand ( Made in Malaysia ) and also seized art silk cloth during a crackdown.

Sources informed Customs Today, Collector Zulfiqar Ali received credible information that huge quantity of foreign origin goods are being smuggled. He immediately formed under the supervision of  Deputy Collector Rana Falik Shair whih also inludes Azhar Hussain Jafri, Bashir Ahmed (inspector), Abdul Hameed, Muhammad Feroz, Muhammad Mansha, Muhammad Ashraf, Muhammad Amin, Muhammad Iqbal, Shafqat Mehmood (sepoys).

The ASO team  held a naka near Motorway police interchange Sial Mor Sargodha and intercepted the a bus . During search of said bus ASO team recovered huge quantity of smuggled goods.  ASO team asked the driver of bus who was identified as Ashna Gul to produce legal documents regarding possession of goods, but he failed to provide any relevant documents. ASO team seized the goods and forward the case to customs adjudication.
