Sarwat greets North Region’s employees on Eid-ul-Fitr

ISLAMABAD: Chief Collector North Sarwat Tahira Habib has extended her heartfelt Eid greetings to the trader community and the employees of the Customs North Region of Model Customs Collectorate Islamabad, Samberial, Peshawar and Gilgit-Baltistan).

With their undoubted joint efforts, the North has surpassed its assigned target for June and the whole Financial Year 2016-17 under the head of Customs Duty on 23rd of June FY16-17 before one week to ending of June FY16-17. She extended her greeting to the FBR and field formations’ officials and staff members.

In her message, the Chief Collector urged all the officials and staff members to perform their duties with devotion. According to Chief Collector North, she will celebrate Eidul-ul-Fitr at Islamabad. She appreciated the overall performance of the officials/ staff of the North Region during Fiscal Year 2016-17 (July to June FY16-17). She hoped that the officials/staff will work more devotedly during next fiscal year 2017-18 also. She assures them of her full cooperation in performance of their official duties.
The chief Collector North told her subordinates that North Region was assigned with Rs1450.00million progressive revenue collection target under the head of CD for June FY16-17. She added that the North has surpassed its allocated target with 30% hike with the collection of Rs1900.00million under the same head till 23rd of June FY16-17.
She further said that now three days i.e. 24th, 29th and 30th of June are still available for revenue collection so the North will collect more revenue under all heads during these three days.
